Native American Heritage Month

In November, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. As a Christian institution, it is important that we acknowledge our history and the role that Christianity had in the colonization and genocide of the Native peoples of North America. We cannot even begin to heal those ongoing wounds if we attempt to ignore our history.  

But we can choose to strive to do better, to learn, and to uplift the voices of Native Americans. Let us honor and celebrate the vast and diverse spiritual and theological contributions of our Native American siblings.
